Embrace All

"I have always felt a little bit different, like I didn’t fit into the environments I was in. Many years passed as I wore a mask to fit into society. About 12 months ago that all changed. I had someone inspire me to look into spirituality. I started reading, meditating amongst others things. I haven’t looked back, I feel I now understand who I am, what I’m about and want to help others do the same".

I have written a few blogs and poems expressing my certain feelings. I enjoy writing it calms and helps me see things from another view (like an outer-body experience). Life’s has been crazy lately. 2020 certainly threw a few curve balls our way and 2021 seems to be continuing in the same way. At the moment so much is being discussed on what’s right, what’s wrong, what you can say and what you can’t. What’s apparent is the worlds eyes have been opened and it’s time for change.

From race, gender, religion and personal beliefs the world seems more open, yet humans seem to be even more divided. Ask yourself a question; Do you judge? Then ask yourself again and be honest with yourself. If you don’t - great! If you do great, as hopefully you have just recognised you need to change. Cultures, races, different genders aren’t an alien force waiting to wipe out the world. In fact they are the most beautiful, educational, fun and inspiring reality we have. If we were all the same, how boring would it be? Other cultures offer so much in the way of enjoying life and learning.

  • Different life views

  • Different types of people

  • History

  • Food

  • Music

  • Clothing

  • Life lessons

One way isn’t always right and if we bring cultures together, we have many beautiful options in life. Why do people feel intimidated and scared of something different? Why, if the colour of someone’s skin is different, do some people feel uneasy? Why if someone’s sexual preference is different, do some turn their noses up? People make judgements on others that they don’t know, have never met but for some reason take an instant dislike. Why?

  • Fear

  • Insecurities

  • Ignorance

  • Brainwashed

  • Weakness

  • Lack of confidence

  • Not happy within themselves

It’s bizarre to me how some individuals say they don’t like someone or feel a certain way about others, when they have never spoken with them. Why do people have to suffer because of others insecurities?

Fear is what causes these ignorant beliefs. Why are some people so scared of change or of something different? You don’t have to like everything, you actually don’t have to like anything, but don’t use narrow minded views and judge people before you get to know them. We look through our eyes, which connect with our brains. The brain can be brainwashed by society. Stop looking through your eyes, start looking, feeling and acting through your heart and gut. Feel and enjoy it, live through acceptance and through love . The world has so much to offer in way of different cultures and beliefs. Why wouldn't anyone not want to embrace it? People are people, we are all humans. The colour of someones skin, or sexual preferences should not be a deciding factor on whether you will be friends with someone. We should love, care and interact with someone's personality, through their soul and their kind heart. Physical looks, origin of birth social status means nothing. Everybody wants the world to be a better place, but some people are not willing to change the direction of the journey they are on. How do we make it a better world to live in? It’s quite simple. Go inside, embrace who you are, do what makes you happy and you spread your aura to others. As I said to a special someone today. If I smile (and I did), you smile (and she did). Happiness, love, kindness are all infectious. If you hold these judgments, drop this ridiculous, ignorant, brain washed behaviour. Be you, be compassionate, show kindness and stand up for what is right. Accept your amazing abilities and use your influence and loving heart. When we realise who we are, what we offer and stop comparing to others, then we stop judging, we stop living in fear and we can celebrate life with others.

We lose the...

  • Fear of change

  • Insecurities in ourselves

  • Ignorance to new cultures

  • Brainwashed views

  • Weakness in being manipulated

  • Lack of confidence

  • Self criticism

Life isn’t a one man race, the world is the biggest team out there and if we come together, there is nothing that can’t be achieved. Believe in yourself, open your mind and embrace all.
